Hello, my name is Jami Voelmeck.  I have lived in Clinton, MO for most of my life.  After attending Southwest Missouri State University for an undergraduate degree in communication disorders/speech-language pathology, I moved to St. Louis, MO and attend graduate school at St. Louis University.  There I received my masters in speech-language pathology.  I worked in the rehabilitation field for two years prior to returning to Clinton to work for the school district that I grew up in.  I have been a speech-language pathologist for the Clinton School District for the past 14 years.  I am very lucky that I recently changed the age groups that I work with.  I now am housed at the Clinton Intermediate School working with grades thre through five.  It has been a wonderful experience and I have enjoyed my first year here.

I have two children and am involved with their activities in the community.  I enjoy helping with their athletic teams as well as the Boy Scout organization.  I hope that being a parent had helped me in understanding, having patience, and being flexible with my students.  I continually want to learn and better my knowledge within my profession. I am very lucky to work with very professional and educated individuals.  I enjoy my job and feel that I learn as much from the students as they do from me.  Thank you for entrusting me with your most prized creation, your child.  Please contact me at any time via e-mail or voicemail with questions and/or concerns.
